We’ll teach you how to provide newborn care, how to assist with lactation, and how to work as a doula both before and after childbirth. You’ll also learn about offering more general women’s healthcare such as gynecology appointments, menopause care, and mental health assistance. We’ll teach you how to bill and code these services to keep your birth center running smoothly. As the founder of multiple education and consulting platforms—including Empowering Midwifery Education and Midwifery Business Consultation—Leslie has trained and mentored midwives, nurses, physicians, and birth professionals nationwide. Her courses are known for translating complex clinical guidelines, policies, and systems into clear, actionable tools that providers can confidently implement in their own practices.
Leslie is especially passionate about expanding scope, improving clinical confidence, and supporting midwives in building thriving, ethical, and financially sustainable practices.
