For years, mental health has been criminally neglected. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the birthing industry. Only recently have people started normalizing the mental health struggles that are so common within the birthing population. Because discussion is still so new, many people don’t reach out for the help they desperately need until it’s almost too late.
As midwives, we have the honor and the responsibility to help people who might be struggling with their mental health. This is why we’ve created this vital course. With over 23 hours of information-rich content, you’ll have the tools you need to address mental health struggles in both yourself and your clients. The course is led by Dr. Jill Chasse, a professional who has spent over 20 years studying public health and Indigenous medicine as well as psychology.
